My name’s Alexis.  I started this blog back in January 2013 to keep friends and family up to date on my newly preggo self.  Our baby girl was born on July 6, 2013, just over 6 weeks early.  She spent close to 3 weeks in the NICU and is now thriving at home with us.  After spending so much time at home (I’m actually still on maternity leave), I’ve found myself drawn to doing projects around the house (even though they usually end up looking like a Pinterest fail), meal planning (two large pizzas, please!), seasonal decorating, and most importantly keeping my family (and myself) happy and healthy (thank you beer).  I have an awesome guy, a great stepdaughter, a fabulous baby girl, and a super neurotic and sweet little dog.  I couldn’t ask for more.
