Welp. It’s Fall. It’s Fall and it’s 81 degrees where we live. Anyway – I thought I’d take a minute and share some of my faves with you all. I know you’re chomping at the bit to find out what I’m into.
1. Grey Nail Polish – obsessed. There’s something about grey. It’s basically the perfect neutral shade. Looks chic, goes with everything. Love, love, love. Right now I can’t get enough of Essie Smokin’ Hot. Buy it here.
2. Red Wine – you have my heart. I missed you last winter being knocked up and all. But now…now we can be friends again. Sort of. Since Katherine’s been born, I’ve been able to have a beer now and then no problem (to help with my milk supply it has nothing to do with Football Sundays at all OBVI) but wine’s been a bit of a challenge. However. For Leelanau Cellars’ Witches Brew, I will make an exception. I will have a wine headache for you, Witches Brew. I will pump and dump for you, Witches Brew. If only I could actually buy you. This wine is made in Michigan, so it’s basically impossible to get it anywhere out of the area. Unless maybe you call your awesome sister WHO LIVES IN MICHIGAN and have her ship you a case. 3. Fall Air Fresheners – If I had my way all the time always no matter what, our house would smell like Apple Cinnamon year-frickin-round. But. My man hates Apple Cinnamon. So we compromise. You would be shocked to discover how much time we spend deciding on air fresheners. It’s embarrassing. Oh well. That is love. This fall I am all about Glade Fall Hayride scent. It’s a little crisp, a little outdoorsy. Audrey said it smells like Christmas in our house. You can get this stuff pretty much anywhere – Target, Walmart, grocery stores, truck stop restrooms. You know.
4. All Pumpkin Everything – OHMAGAHD. I am one of those people that loves pumpkin. Pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin pancakes (mayyyybe we had some for breakfast this morning), pumpkin coffee creamer, and, of course, the godfather of them all – Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte. OHMAGAHD.
5. Baby Jeggings – I seriously am counting the minutes until it is cool enough for Katherine to wear pants of any kind. Yesterday it was only 70 degrees so she should be able to rock these Old Navy Pop-Color Jersey Pants by, oh, February. Get every color in every size right here.
6. Television – okay, I am not obsessed with television or anything. Even though I have watched more of it than I ever thought possible since going on maternity leave. But seriously – Fall is awesome for TV. All of our favorite shows are back and whatever but it makes me super happy: The Voice, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, The League. But I am most stoked for American Horror Story: Coven. This show is so effed up in the best way. It is always dark and twisted and makes me think of Halloween. I can’t wait until it’s back. You will know because I will be tweaking out about it.
